Mailah Panaligan-Paterno brings a diverse nursing background spanning from the Philippines to the United States. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Luke’s College of Nursing in 1995 through a full scholarship and later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in 2023, specializing in Adult Gerontology.

With a career in acute care across three countries, Mailah has extensive experience in medical-surgical and oncology nursing. She was recognized as “Nurse of the Year” during her time in Saudi Arabia and continued her work in Hematology/Oncology at Willis-Knighton Medical Center North after moving to the United States in 2016. She is certified in Medical-Surgical and Oncology Nursing and remains active in professional nursing associations.

Mailah is passionate about patient advocacy and education, with a focus on helping individuals—especially the elderly—manage chronic conditions through preventative care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, and traveling.

Kemmerly is a native of Homer, LA, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2008) & Biology (2006) from Grambling State University and later completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner at South University. She is board certified in Family Practice and Wound Care.

With over 17 years of clinical experience, Kemmerly has worked in various healthcare settings, becoming the first Nurse Practitioner at David Wade Correctional Center and initiating a wound care clinic, working in outpatient clinics, nursing homes, and community health clinics. She is passionate about providing patient-centered care to rural and underserved populations and communities. Kemmerly believes in the importance of treating everyone with kindness and stives to empower patients through education and support.

Kemmerly is the daughter of Margie Walker and the late Guy Walker, Jr. She is the proud mother of a loving daughter, Aubrey. She is a member of the Center Springs C.M.E. Church, in Homer, LA, where she resides.

Dr. Jun Sang Cho is a native of South Korea. He graduated from Korea Aerospace University in 1988 with a degree in Avionics and began his career as a software engineer. In 2007, he moved to the United States and pursued a new path in healthcare, earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Utah Valley University in 2011. He later obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Nova Southeastern University in 2015.

Dr. Cho brings a unique and diverse background to his practice, combining technical expertise with a commitment to patient care. His transition into dentistry reflects his dedication to improving the health and well-being of the communities he serves.

Dr. Cho is married and has one son, and they reside in Shreveport, Louisiana. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and recently achieved his goal of completing a 5K marathon.
