Mailah Panaligan-Paterno brings a diverse nursing background spanning from the Philippines to the United States. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Luke’s College of Nursing in 1995 through a full scholarship and later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in 2023, specializing in Adult Gerontology.

With a career in acute care across three countries, Mailah has extensive experience in medical-surgical and oncology nursing. She was recognized as “Nurse of the Year” during her time in Saudi Arabia and continued her work in Hematology/Oncology at Willis-Knighton Medical Center North after moving to the United States in 2016. She is certified in Medical-Surgical and Oncology Nursing and remains active in professional nursing associations.

Mailah is passionate about patient advocacy and education, with a focus on helping individuals—especially the elderly—manage chronic conditions through preventative care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, and traveling.

Dr. Jun Sang Cho is a native of South Korea. He graduated from Korea Aerospace University in 1988 with a degree in Avionics and began his career as a software engineer. In 2007, he moved to the United States and pursued a new path in healthcare, earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Utah Valley University in 2011. He later obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Nova Southeastern University in 2015.

Dr. Cho brings a unique and diverse background to his practice, combining technical expertise with a commitment to patient care. His transition into dentistry reflects his dedication to improving the health and well-being of the communities he serves.

Dr. Cho is married and has one son, and they reside in Shreveport, Louisiana. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and recently achieved his goal of completing a 5K marathon.
