While in the early stages of study, you try many different kinds of medicine, and I just clicked with Pediatrics immediately.” After having the responsibility of a private practice for several years, in Lake Charles, La, she was ready to slow things down a little bit.  Bergstedt-Cormier most wants to establish that connection with her young patients and their parents. “I like trying to see the entire family picture,” she said. “It’s a team effort to care for a child. I’m here to help you and advise you.” Getting behind family model of WCHC is a welcome change from practicing in a bigger city.
